Oncology/Cancer Science Case Reports


The study that includes the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer is called Oncology. Whereas cancer is a disorder involving abnormal cell growth because of the loss of a property called apoptosis, with the potential to invade or spread to other parts of the body. It begins with benign tumor, which does not spread to other parts of the body. The signs and symptoms that apparently appear are lumps, abnormal bleedings, prolonged cough, unexplained weight loss and a change in bowel movements. Over 100 types of cancers affect humans and which are named depending on the particular area from where it is generated. It is a multidisciplinary approach to keep readers up to date with the developments in their own as well as related fields.
